The Past

BobsBoy started out in photography back in the early 90's. First specialising in Sport Pictures for magazine publications which then spread to Press Agency work. Having covered various areas of photography over the past decades, Street Images were probably the most rewarding artistically. However they're probably the hardest to produce as there's little or no planning to street pictures.

Having visited various art galleries in London and other cities, I came to the conclusion that photography has a battle with being individual and creating unique one off images. Having looked at past pictures I still see what I saw when I took them, so using lacquers of different grades I aimed to emphasise what I actually saw at the time, thus each piece is individual this way.   

The medium of Photography and hand finishing with texture and tones makes the image a one off. Having success with the results of these mediums,  I'm looking in the future to take images based on hand finishing them. A very different vision of the image when actually taking a photograph. I look forward to this process for future images not just of street imagery.
